Palmyra, New York and Niagara Falls, Ont

Our first trip from Detroit was to drive through Canada via Sarnia. We stopped at Niagara Falls for some quick pictures. Then we found a Friendly's on the way to the Hill Cumorrah Pageant in Palmyra New York. Friendly's is a favorite of mine from my Maryland days. We were running late and everything seemed to go wrong but it all turned out fine. After dinner we drove to Palmyra (thank you little GPS machine)and went to the Hill Cumorrah site which is owned by our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were able to find parking and good seats very quickly. The kids had a chance to meet some cast members. They had a nice chat with the man who played Abinadi, who happens to be Brian and Kevin's favorite prophet from the Book of Mormon. The show was spectacular!
